Temples

Apologies for the lack of updates recently – I’ve been on too many holidays. I’m back in the real world now though, so keep checkin’ back!

After their unreal sell out gig at The Westgarth back in April, I’m absolutely buzzing to be bringing Temples back to Teesside! They’re headlining The Georgian Theatre in Stockton-on-Tees on Monday 19th August with support from the cream of the local crop Goy Boy McIlroy and Alistair Sheerin. Tickets are £8 in advance and are already selling well – early purchase strongly advised:

JUST ANNOUNCED – GAZ COOMBES

Gaz Coombes

Like pretty much anybody else who grew up in the 90s, I was a big Supergrass fan – which means I’m very pleased to announce this new gig:

The Fly

So yeah, that Field Music gig I put on the other week was amazing. They really are the best band around right now. Fact! Make sure you pick up their new album when it’s released in February – I’ve had the privilege of getting a sneak preview and blimey, it’s absolutely next level.

Anyroad, there’s a nice review of the gig in this month’s issue of The Fly and to be honest, I couldn’t have said it better myself:

ARC

In association with the fine folks at Ten Feet Tall, I’ve been given the lovely task of curating the music program at ARC in Stockton-On-Tees.

We kicked things off last month with a rather splendid sold-out show from Frank Turner and we’ve got some equally awesome stuff coming up soon including:

Definitely a bit different from the other stuff I’ve been booking recently (Brother, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Dananananaykroyd, Tellison etc) but a nice challenge and an intriguing proposition to be putting on gigs that my parents will probably want to go to…!

Got a few tributes booked in too including Zion, The CUREheads and Re-Take That. See http://www.arconline.co.uk for all the info.
