Buzzing to be bringing VANT to the North East for three shows in the coming months:
Very pleased to be invited back to Stockton Calling to curate “the boat stage” on the HM Bark Endeavour. Bands already announced across the other stages include The Ordinary Boys, Neville Staple, Kingsley Chapman, Fatherson, The Pigeon Detectives and many more. Head over to www.stocktoncalling.co.uk for tickets and check out the lovely boat line-up:
Apologies for the lack of updates recently – I’ve been on too many holidays. I’m back in the real world now though, so keep checkin’ back!
After their unreal sell out gig at The Westgarth back in April, I’m absolutely buzzing to be bringing Temples back to Teesside! They’re headlining The Georgian Theatre in Stockton-on-Tees on Monday 19th August with support from the cream of the local crop Goy Boy McIlroy and Alistair Sheerin. Tickets are £8 in advance and are already selling well – early purchase strongly advised:
The first live music event of the year at The Olde Young Tea House in Middlesbrough is on Sunday 27th January and comes in the shape of a FREE GIG from Dressed Like Wolves and The Broken Broadcast. We’re too good to you!
2012 saw The Olde Young Tea House play host to some incredible live music from the likes of Cattle & Cane, The Lake Poets, To Kill A King, Africa Express, Evelyn Burke, Chris T-T, The Daydream Club, By Toutatis, Franz Nicolay, Bob Fischer and many more. To kick off 2013, we thought we’d put on a free gig from two of our favourite Tea-Side acts:
I’m heading to Liverpool Sound City shortly – if you’re going to be there, be sure to let me know!
I’m speaking on the panel at this event tomorrow in association with the Musicians Union:
I spoke on a similar panel in Newcastle a few weeks ago and the feedback we got from the attendees was great – so if you’re in a band or work as a promoter, I’d definitely recommend popping along…
