Room 1 – Gig Posters by Twoducksdisco

The debut solo show from Twoducksdisco – aka Cameron Steward – who is, in my humble opinion, one of the finest poster artists around in the UK right now.

Best known for creating exclusive artwork for such luminaries as Teenage Fanclub, The Black Keys, Wolf Parade, Why?, The Melvins, Gallows, Willy Mason and The Beatles, Cameron will be exhibiting screen prints of some of his finest works.

As well as displaying the finished articles, he’ll be showing examples of the different stages involved with the screen printing process and answering any questions you may have about how it all comes together.

Room 2 – Collages by Graham Hutchinson

A collector of images, Graham’s collection comes from images that he’s found in many different places; cities he’s lived in/visited, on the street, cafés and bars, flea markets, charity chops, the schools that he’s taught at and even online auctions.

He produces collages which construct and re/present narratives by using found images to explore multiple narratives of portraiture. In doing so, he aims to highlight an array of emotional anxieties that appear from time to time in our lives.

“I make my scenarios by trawling my collection of images and then layering them. In building layers of colour and form I wait for the whole image to reveal itself. It is at this point, when the balance of what is there and what is not feels complete that I hand my collage over to the viewer to ask and answer their own questions” says Graham.

ANKLES

Hartlepool superstars combining the finest elements of driving, gas and retirement. Two bassists.

OUR SECRET SINS

Ace new Boro band with more members than I’ve had hot proverbials. They remind these ears of

SOFT BLACK

On tour with Werewolves, Brooklyn based singer-songwriter Vincent Cacchione will be opening
up the gig with a set of his mint Ted Leo meets Ryan Adams-esque indie folk. Awooga.
